I am Craig Rose Salem, NY. Thanks for coming to my blog.
I live on a 42 acre parcel of land in where else but Salem NY with my wife, a horse and three cats.

Technically I (Craig Rose Salem NY) live in Salem, New York, however I actually live in West Hebron, New York. In other words, Craig Rose Salem NY.
West Hebron, NY is too small for a post office, so our ZIP code (12865) is for Salem, New York (Salem NY). West Hebron is also too small for a school district, so we pay our school tax to Salem NY. We also pay taxes to West Hebron, New York in addition to Salem New York. Property tax is paid to West Hebron New York and portions of that go to Salem, New York.
My career started with Chevron Corporation in San Ramon, California where, after earning a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Design from San Francisco State. Craig Rose ultimately transferred into Chevron's web design team and helped to create their extensive corporate Intranet.
Later I moved to Maine where I worked as the Senior Digital Graphic Artist for Unum in Portland Maine. Later at Unum, I changed positions and became a Web Developer (Front End) using ASP.Net.
Next I moved to Salem NY (West Hebron), New York and worked at The Orvis Company first on their Content Team, then as a Web Developer and the as a Platform Engineer. I am now officially retired!
In my spare time, you can find me working on my 160 year old house, working somewhere on our 42 acres (with or without a horse) or in my shop, converted from a small old barn.
